Woolworths NetSetGo is back for 2025.
And next year it comes with a host of new program elements, resources and participant goodies to enhance the learning and the fun.
Woolworths NetSetGo is Australia’s leading introductory netball program for children aged 5 to 10. It features three phases, Net, Set and Go, tailored to each age group.
But the grassroots program isn’t just about learning how to play netball, it’s about creating a positive first experience in sports.

Next year you’ll notice Woolworths NetSetGo looks different and that’s because it is.
The program has undergone a redesign to ensure it is meeting the needs of everyone from parents to guardians and coaches, and of course... to our littlest netballers, to ensure maximum engagement, fun, and learning.
This refresh was guided by a six-month pilot program run by Netball Australia, in partnership with all state and territories, and a host of local netball Associations and centres to help shape the revitalised program.
Suggested changes to the Woolworths NetSetGo content were put to the test by some of the world’s toughest judges, real NetSetGo participants.
Hundreds of kids, parents, volunteers and coaches from across the country participated in redeveloped session plans and offered their invaluable feedback, which has helped reshape Woolworths NetSetGo for everyone.
Not everything is changing though, like the name. Woolworths NetSetGo is still the safe, welcoming, and fun environment you know and love.
So, what has changed?
Session structures
Session content, such as the activities children participate in, have been reviewed and updated to ensure a philosophy of “more touches, more fun!” is integrated into the program, particularly for the Net stage of the program.
Modified equipment
Kiddos in Net and Set will no longer be tasked an intimidating full-size goalpost and netball. Rather, modified (shorter!) goalposts and softer balls will make it easier for everyone to practice their passing, catching, and shooting.
New resources
Flash cards, curriculum materials and new explainer videos will ensure every grown-up can get involved in the fun and help to run a NetSetGo session, regardless of their netball knowledge.
New Suncorp Super Netball t-shirts and pack items!
A brand-new starter pack is also a part of the exciting program refresh.
NetSetGoers can now mimic their SSN heroes at every session with a brand-new SSN team branded shirt! Kids will have the option to select their preferred SSN team during the registration process.
