South Australian Rubies

Growing the game for all

The One Netball Marie Little Shield is an annual tournament that provides women with an intellectual disability with the chance to compete at a national level. The competition is named in honour of disability netball pioneer, Marie Little OAM.

In an outstanding performance, South Australia’s Rubies brought home gold in 2019 competition in Brisbane.

The win is a testament to the ongoing support and commitment to inclusion demonstrated by the Adelaide Metropolitan Netball Division, C6 competition and the clubs involved.

2021 Rubies player trial registrations and officials applications are now open. Apply via the link below.
