We acknowledge and celebrate the ongoing contribution of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander netball community

We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first Australians and custodians of the lands, and acknowledge the continuing
relationship between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with
traditional lands and waters.

We respect the continuing cultures, languages and heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and place importance on showing this respect.

This framework outlines how Netball SA will contribute to increasing the participation and development of Indigenous netballers in South Australia. Netball SA, aligned with the rest of the Netball Australia ecosystem, have identified an essential need to prioritise Indigenous athlete development.

Netball SA is proud to launch the First Nations Athlete Participation Scholarship Program. The Scholarship aims to encourage & drive participation in the Sport of Netball in SA, by identifying emerging Indigenous talent & supporting their entry to the early stages of the National Player Pathways.

Keep an eye out for 2025 Clinics. Our First Nations netball clinics are designed to deliver training and skills sessions to our communities.
