On the back of the 2024 Hospital Research Foundation Group Premier League competition, two players were awarded as joint Most Valuable Player for their outstanding performances throughout the season.
Jessica Paradiso from the South Adelaide Netball Club and Asha Thurlow from Oakdale Netball Club have taken home the League’s most decorated accolade.
Paradiso has now earned her fourth MVP award after also claiming the title in 2022, 2020 and 2013.
The dynamic playmaker stepped up for her side playing across GA/WA, helping South Adelaide make their first-ever Premier League grand final in 2024.
The former Thunderbird dominated the goal circle, scoring 397 goals in 17 appearances.
Despite going down to Contax Netball Club in an epic grand final, Paradiso led her side in goals, scoring 34 for the match from GA.
To cap off a successful year on court, she was also named in Westfields’s Team of the Year as Goaler Reserve.
Thurlow has now won her second League MVP Medal after a dominant 2024 at GS.
She first won the illustrious award back in 2019 during her season with the Metro Jets Netball Club.
After 14 appearances this year, Thurlow shot an impressive 586 goals at 91% shooting accuracy.
Thurlow represented the South Australian 19U State Team in 2015 and went on to be selected in the Southern Force squads in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
Amy Bull from the Oakdale Netball Club has won the Reserves MVP award after helping lead her side to a Preliminary Final in2024.
The young attacker played all 16 games for the Reserves side this season, scoring 537 goals as an integral part of her side's attack end.
The rising talent delivered 50 goals for her side on two occasions in 2024, in rounds 11 and 14.
