The winners of the most coveted award for The Hospital Research Foundation Group Premier League competition have been revealed, with two shooting stars taking the League and Reserves divisions.
Former Thunderbird and experienced goaler from Tango Netball Club Jess Paradiso has been crowned the Most Valuable Player of the League division, while Matrics Netball Clubs’ captain Lucy Reynolds is the MVP for Reserves.
A dynamic playmaker, Paradiso led the way in Tango’s attack in 2022 and delivered at the post with 335 goals at 83.3% for the year.
She was also named in the 2022 Team of the Year in goal attack.
A strong goal shooter, Reynolds led by example for her side in 2022 as captain and key target in attack.
She shot 421 goals across the year at 81.1% and was named MVP in her side’s grand final victory in August.
The pair received their awards and pins at the Netball SA Awards Gala on Friday, October 14.
