The Walkerville Netball Club have been recognised as the winners of the 2023 Mazda Club Excellence Award (Community).
It comes after an extremely successful 2023 netball season for Walkerville, highlighted by their four senior premierships in the Adelaide Metropolitan Netball Division (AMND).
Additionally, the club is a member of the STARCLUB Development Program and has both an accredited development coach and C badged umpire, demonstrating its strength and commitment off the court.
Walkerville accepted their award at Netball SA’s Gala Awards Night on Friday, September 29.
Award Criteria
Points are earned from the following:
- Association's highest senior grade Premiership (10 points)
- Association's second highest senior grade Premiership (5 points)
- Any other association grade Premiership (2 points)
- STARCLUB - Club Development Program member (5 points)
- Development, Intermediate or Advanced coaches accredited in 2022 (1 point per coach)
- A, B or C badged umpires in 2022 (1 point per umpire)
