Netball SA is pleased to announce the appointment of the 17U & 19U coaches to lead the Netball SA State Teams in 2024.
19U Team
Jenny Borlase was chosen as Head Coach for the 19U team, with Kim Hocking as Assistant Coach.
A former Australian Diamond, Borlase is an exciting appointment, bringing her wealth of knowledge and experience in a significant coup for the State.
Hocking has been re-appointed to the 19U team after being the Assistant Coach in 2023.
17U Team
Peta Maher has been appointed as Head Coach for the 17U team, supported by Vanessa Dempsey as Assistant Coach.
Maher will lead the 17U squad for the third consecutive year, having held Assistant Coach roles in the South Australian state team environment previously.
Former Head Coach of the Oakdale Netball Club and 2023 Rising Sisters Head Coach, Dempsey will join the Netball SA State Team coaching staff for the first time and has vast coaching experience, holding a variety of roles in the past.
