Nancy Moulds is one of five 2025 Life Member inductees whose dedication and service have made a lasting impact on our sport across South Australia.
Across more than six decades, Nancy’s dedication to netball has been unwavering, driven not by obligation but by a genuine love for the game and its people. Netball has been a constant thread throughout every stage of her life, shaping her time, friendships, and community involvement. Her service reflects an extraordinary longevity rarely seen in sport, underpinned by enthusiasm, humility, and a deep belief in netball’s capacity to foster skill, community connection, and leadership across generations.
Nancy joined the Uraidla Netball Club 66 years ago as a player and has continued as a committee member from the age of 22, serving continuously ever since.
While Nancy’s administrative contribution is extensive, her impact as a coach is truly exceptional – coaching at Uraidla for 56 years. Through her coaching, she has mentored hundreds, if not thousands, of players across all stages of their netball journey, providing outstanding service to the technical development of players while also fostering local participation and community engagement. Nancy's passion for development has included not only players, but also fellow coaches - both formally in her former role of Head Coach at Mt Lofty, but also informally through her local club. Her mentees praise her organisation, deep knowledge of the game, and passion for developing players to the best of their ability.
Nancy Moulds is a Life Member of the Uraidla Netball Club and the Hills Netball Association and is a most deserving nominee for Netball SA Life Membership, in recognition of her extraordinary, lifelong service to netball across all facets of our wonderful game.
Nancy was presented with her Life Membership at Netball SA's 2025 AGM on Thursday, April 30th.
