Woolworths SA Rubies captain Isabella Ivancic-Holland has been crowned the 2024 Most Valuable Player on the back of another strong performance in 2024.
She led her side to back-to-back bronze medals at this year’s Marie Little Shield competition, designed to provide women with an intellectual disability the chance to compete at a national level.
She was also named Most Valuable Player of the entire MLS competition in 2024 after starring across C, GD and GA.
Ivancic-Holland first joined the SA Rubies in 2013 at 15 years of age and has been captain of the side since 2016.
She has been recognised for her welcoming nature and leadership across the group, finding a balance between her desire to win and wanting to help her newer teammates build their confidence.
