The Games, which is being held for the first time in six years, is an inclusive international sporting event that incorporates both able-bodies and disabled athletes from countries across the Asia-Pacific region spanning 17 sports.
The netball component of the Games will be played in Darwin’s brand-new Territory Netball Centre, which is the same ground that will host the Thunderbirds’ historic Round 7 clash against the Sunshine Coast Lightning.
Ten teams will contest the international netball title, including Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Fiji and Brunei.
The Games present our Academy players with a great opportunity to put their hard work and training to the test against equally-talented opposition.
