Netball SA is proud to announce the athletes selected in its Yakanarna team set to compete at the First Nations Tournament.
Following a successful pilot in 2024, the First Nations Tournament is now a permanent fixture on the national netball calendar slated for August this year.
The tournament will feature under-23 aged teams from every state and territory as they compete across five days of competition.
The 2025 tournament will take place in Frankston, Victoria at Jubilee Park Stadium from Wednesday 20 to Sunday 24 August.
The side of 10 athletes will partake in the inaugural tournament in Melbourne from Friday, September 13 to 15.
Makayla Harrison (Kokatha) has also been invited by Netball Australia to umpire at the First Nations Tournament.
Netball SA will, for the first time, invite training partners - including one selected from the Rising Sisters Program*.
