Several netball clubs across South Australia are the latest beneficiaries of the state government Infrastructure Projects funding programs.
Last month, the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing announced the 2020-21 Infrastructure Projects successful applicants.
Twelve projects involving netball facilities shared in a significant $2,892,750 through the Grassroots Facilities Program, while eight projects involving netball facilities shared in $847,000 through the Community Recreation and Sports Facilities Program.
Amongst the recipients were the Roxby Downs Council who received funding for four new multi-purpose courts at the Roxby Downs Sports Precinct.
The Tailem Bend Netball Club received funding towards the existing development of their courts and the Naracoorte Demons Netball Club received funding to upgrade and resurface their courts.
The Western Districts Netball Club on Kangaroo Island were also successful recipients, allowing them to build three new multi-purpose courts.
