Matrics Netball Club’s rising star Elouise Nordhausen has been named the 2026 Rookie of the Year for the Hospital Research Foundation Group Premier League.
In her breakout season, Nordhausen played 10 games in the league division, shooting 305 goals and playing across goal shooter and goal attack.
The 18-year-old also played 11 games for the reserves side and slotted 211 goals.
She delivered for the Stars in the reserves grand final, moving between goal shooter and goal attack with ease.
2026 was a significant year for Nordhausen who also made her debut for the Adelaide Thunderbirds Futures side and was a key member of the Netball SA 19U State Team.
