A live stream broadcast deal, prize money, and a pre-season shield will all feature in a new look, elevated pre-season tournament for The Hospital Research Foundation Group Premier League.
For the first time, all eight clubs will battle it out for bragging rights on the inaugural shield and prize money, and the tournament will be live streamed thanks to KommunityTV.
All Court 1 matches will be streamed and increased media coverage and exposure of the event will take it to new and existing audiences across the tournament on April 1st and 2nd.
KommunityTV will continue to elevate the competition into the rounds, live streaming both League and Reserves matches on Court 1 throughout the season.
Netball SA CEO Bronwyn Klei said the live streaming deal was especially significant after the success of the 2022 season.
“We’re so excited to partner with KommunityTV and Newscorp again because really this is the flagship competition for netball in SA,” Klei said.
“We’ve got hundreds of thousands of people involved in netball here in South Australia each year and to be able to put the best netballers in the state on show for them is fantastic.
“It’s going to lift the competition and we think we’re in store for one of the most entertaining and intriguing seasons we’ve seen.”
News Sport Network managing director Michael Wilkins said KommunityTV was gearing up for another cracking season of Netball SA Premier League.
“The partnership with Netball South Australia got off to a great start in 2022, and we are pleased to be able to extend that alliance over the next three seasons,” Wilkins said.
“The extension of our partnership comes off the back of a renewed push to cover the best in the sport across our multiple news platforms, most notably Code Sports.”
