Fourteen South Australian rising stars have been named in the Adelaide Thunderbirds Futures Squad for 2024.
The squad will compete in the new Super Netball Reserves pilot program that will run during a portion of the 2024 Suncorp Super Netball season.
Developed in consultation with Member Organisations and SSN teams and supported by the Australian Netball Players' Association, SN Reserves will run over five weeks from June 1 to July 7.
The program will feature athletes who are in or on the cusp of SSN, including training partners, state league players and other athletes.
All four of the Adelaide Thunderbirds training partners have been named: Nyah Allen, Sophie Casey, Kayla Graham, and Molly Watson.
The side will be led by Head Coach Jacqui Illman, Assistant Coach Jenny Borlase, and Apprentice Coach Amanda Shattock.
