Netball SA has announced the 14 athletes who will represent South Australia at the 2023 Australian Netball Championships next month.
The side will defend its 2022 title under a new name after becoming Adelaide Thunderbirds Futures in May this year.
As the stepping stone to the Adelaide Thunderbirds, Netball SA made the decision to rebrand the side to strengthen its position in the South Australian pathway.
All six 2023 Adelaide Thunderbirds training partners have made the team, along with an additional five athletes who all play in Netball SA's The Hospital Research Foundation Group Premier League - the state's pinnacle netball competition.
Thunderbirds shooter Lucy Austin has also been named after becoming eligible to participate in the ANC event.
