Netball SA is pleased to announce the launch of the Talent Identification Program commencing this month. In line with the start of the new Adelaide Thunderbirds Talent Academy (ATTA) and in consultation with Associations, the new program will help identify young players who have the ability to progress through the player pathway.
Panel members from across the State will be appointed and will attend several events including Country Championship in 2022 with the intent of identifying athletes in the 13-14yr age group. These athletes will be identified to have the potential to trial for the 2023 ATTA along with players who would benefit from further development prior to taking the next step.
We are excited to be launching this new program and look forward to expanding this further into 2023 and beyond with the aim to continue providing the best opportunities for South Australian netballers to shine.
