Metro Jets Netball Club have announced their marquee signings for 2023, as experienced midcourter Alice Gerlach and young talent Jemma Kelly re-sign with the club.
Playing over 200 Premier League games across her netball career, Gerlach has no shortage of experience and brings a wealth of knowledge to her relatively young side.
She leads the way through Jets’ midcourt as a role model for her peers, leading by example on and off the court.
In contrast to Gerlach’s experience, Kelly will be the youngest member of Jets’ Premier League squad for 2023.
A key position player with the ability to deliver at either end of the court, she has been talented identified in South Australia in recent years.
Kelly was previously selected in the School Girls U15 SA side and went on to be named in the Australian U15 side.
She was also named in Netball SA’s 2022 17U Development Squad and was recently selected in the 2023 17U State Squad.
All eight Premier League clubs will announce two marquee signings throughout November and December, followed by the announcement of their initial squad of 12 in late December.
