The Metro Jets Netball Club locked down emerging goaler Ash Turner from Tasmania to strengthen its attack end for next year’s Premier League season.
At just 20 years old, Turner has already accrued a long list of accolades having represented Tasmania at the National Netball Championships in 2022/23 with the 19U State Team where she scored over 80 goals in each tournament.
Turner had a breakout year with the Cripps Waratah Netball Club in the Tasmanina National League in 2023 where she helped her team reach the finals, scoring 249 goals for the season.
The high-volume shooter continued her outstanding form in 2024, representing the Kingston Blues in the TNL where she scored 250 goals from 310 attempts over 11 games, earning her spot in the Opens All-Star team.
Metro Jets will be looking to climb their way up the ladder in 2025, having finished seventh overall in 2024.
Turner joins signed player Ella Sigley in Metro Jet’s attack end for next season.
