The Matrics Netball Club were victorious at the 2023 Hospital Research Foundation Group Premier League pre-season tournament, taking out both the League and Reserves division.
After two days of competition at Netball SA Stadium, Matrics defeated Contax Netball Club in the League division while the Reserves side defeated South Adelaide Netball Club.
The two Matrics sides became the first teams on the inaugural pre-season tournament shield.
