The Garville Netball Club has announced two blockbuster signings for 2023, including a new recruit and the return of a club captain.
Young star Tahlia Dnistrjanski will join the Greys from Contax Netball Club next season, and Garville’s 2022 Club Captain Jordyn Adams will make her much-anticipated return from injury.
A South Australian Sports Institute (SASI) scholarship athlete and State Team representative, Dnistrjanski has been talent identified at many points over the years.
The versatile midcourter represented South Australia at both the 17U and 19U levels and was selected in both the 17U and then 19U Australian National Squads.
Adams will return to the court for Garville after an ACL injury sidelined the powerhouse defender for 2022.
The Greys will welcome back her experience and leadership on-and-off the court as she sets the standards for her side.
In 2021, Adams was selected to represent South Australia in the Southern Force side at the Australian National Championships, although the tournament was cancelled due to COVID-19.
Prior to that, she represented SA in Netball SA’s State Teams, including in the 2019 19U side who won gold for the State.
All eight Premier League clubs will announce two marquee signings over the coming weeks, followed by the announcement of their initial squad of 12 in December.
