Garville Netball Club have bolstered their list for 2025, adding former Adelaide Thunderbird and South African international Lenize Guidera (née Potgieter) to their shooting end.
The 188cm GS/GA joins the Greys with a wealth of experience, having played in the UK Superleague, New Zealand’s ANZ premiership, and Suncorp Super Netball in Australia.
Guidera also has represented the South African Spar Proteas on the international stage, making her debut for her country in the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
After a year with Team Bath in 2016, the South African made the move to New Zealand where she played for the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic in 2017/18 and the Southern Steel in 2019.
She joined the Queensland Firebirds at the end of 2019 as a temporary replacement player and was subsequently offered a contract with the Adelaide Thunderbirds for 2020.
Following three seasons and 39 appearances in pink, she returned to the UK to join the Manchester Thunder for the 2023 Superleague season.
The international shooter is back in Adelaide in 2025, set to make her debut in The Hospital Research Foundation Group Premier League competition.
