Netball SA will take its Netball on the Road program to five South Australian regions in 2023, delivering free clinics, education sessions and development programs across the state.
After visiting the South-East, Eyre Peninsula, Murraylands and the Lower North in 2022, the 2023 program will include the Central Ranges, Fleurieu Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Riverland and the Upper North.
The dates for each region are:
- Central Ranges: March 22-26
- Fleurieu Peninsula: April 26-30
- Yorke Peninsula: May 3-7
- Riverland: May 17-21
- Upper North: July 5-9
Each five-day program will include a range of sessions for players, coaches, umpires, and administrators.
Detailed schedules for each region will be released in the lead up to each program.
Netball SA CEO Bronwyn Klei said the organisation was pleased to take the program to its regions once again after a successful pilot year in 2022.
“We delivered 40 programs to over 1,800 people in 2022 and in working even closer with our clubs and associations this year, we hope to expand those numbers significantly,” Ms Klei said.
“Ensuring our netball communities have the education and resources they need to help our game thrive is paramount and we know Netball on the Road is key in delivering this.”
