This afternoon, the South Australian Premier Steven Marshall made an announcement following the outbreak of COVID-19 in SA over the past 24 hours.
At 3:15pm, the Premier announced that from midnight tonight, Monday, November 16, community sport fixtures and training, both indoor and outdoor, would be cancelled for a two-week period, with the potential for extension.
In addition, Netball SA’s recommendation would be to act with precaution and cancel trainings and competitions due to take place tonight.
For associations due to deliver competitions this evening, Netball SA will be in contact with you directly.
Recreation centres were also among several locations forced to close from midnight tonight.
As a result, the Netball SA stadium at Mile End will also be closed until further notice.
This also means the City Night Division competition has been cancelled for tomorrow evening.
In the meantime, please continue to remain vigilant and follow government guidelines.
