The Adelaide Thunderbirds Talent Academy has adopted an evolved structure in 2023 following extensive consultation with participants and key stakeholders across the state.
The new structure is designed to elevate the pathway from grassroots competitions to Netball SA’s State Teams and beyond and create greater development opportunities for regional coaches.
The program will be led by former 17U State Team Coach Lee-Anne Cummins. Lee-Anne was a Head Coach in the Adelaide Thunderbirds Talent Academy pilot program in 2022 and has a wealth of experience in the development of athletes in this 14-16yr age group. Lee-Anne will also assist with the development of coaches within the program.
Netball SA are pleased to announce the appointment of the coaching staff for all Academies for 2023.
