2019 has marked an outstanding year for the club who were Premiers for the highest and second highest senior grade competition in the Western Border Netball Association. The club also took out Grade 17/U, 15/U A, 15/Under B and 13/A premierships.
Millicent Netball Club’s A Grade team has won 11 Premierships in a row and 16 in the past 20 years, with the last year being the clubs most successful year winning six premierships, demonstrating a the culture of success has been built into the club over the long term.
Helping build the next generation of netballers, the club have been involved with the NetSetGO program for over 10 years.
Millicent Netball Club is also STARCLUB member, meaning the club is a well-run club where quality coaches and officials work alongside valued volunteers in a safe and welcoming environment.
Points for the Netball SA Club Excellence Award are awarded for:
- Associations highest senior grade premiership
- Associations second highest senior grade premiership
- Any other Association grade premiership
- STARCLUB – Club Development Program member
- Development, Intermediate or Advanced coaches accredited in 2019
- A, B, or C badged umpires in 2019
