NetSetGO

The starter program for kids with lots of energy to burn

Suncorp NetSetGO is Australia’s official starter program for girls and boys aged 5 to 10. It’s a chance to learn the netball basics, get outside and make some friends. For a lot of kids, this is the first time they’ll pick up a netball or chuck on a bib. It’s a learning experience. And a lot of fun!

Suncorp NetSetGO is divided up into three tiers: Net, Set and GO. Where you start depends on your age and netball experience.

Through skill-based activities, minor games, dance and modified matches, it provides a positive and fun introduction to playing netball.

NetSetGO is coming to Netball SA Stadium! We're thrilled to be hosting our very own program in the heart of Adelaide from 21 October - 9 December. Sign up for a Net or Set program today.

Implementing NetSetGO at your school, club or association is easy!

Netball Australia has created a comprehensive set of coaching resources, session plans and coordinator manuals ensuring that anyone, from netball coaches to teachers, can successfully roll-out the program.

In addition to the resources to run the program, you will also receive:

  • An equipment kit, featuring all the equipment needed to run the program

  • Administrative support from Netball SA, including assistance for schools in finding community coaches if teachers can’t teach the program themselves

  • Opportunities for a NetSetGO Ambassador visit from an Adelaide Thunderbirds player

The program is easy to run and for clubs and associations it gives your organisation the chance to recruit new players and volunteers. It also provides training opportunities for coaches and volunteers and the opportunity to increase membership and revenue at your club or association.
