Breakthrough Community Round

Netball SA is proud to be supporting Breakthrough Community Round for 2021 to help raise awareness for mental health first aid programs and research.
Developed by the Breakthrough Foundation the Round, which is supported across the sporting landscape, is an important opportunity to start the mental health conversation.
As sporting clubs are the trusted voices of their communities, we’re calling on netball clubs across our community to help support mental health awareness and the need for research.
Clubs who register will be sent purple and blue arm band tape for players and officials to wear during the round as a symbol of your commitment to tackle mental health head on.
One in five Australians has a diagnosed a mental health condition, and more people between 15-44 years die from suicide than any other cause - but together we can help change lives.
