Tanunda Netball Club – Senior 1 and 2 coach vacancy

Tanunda Netball Club plays in the Barossa Light & Gawler Netball Association, with a Club history spanning over 60 years. Our Club Mission is to develop players of all levels, our umpires and coaches by focussing on skills development, promoting good sportsmanship, teamwork and demoing ethical and committed behaviours from all of our members. We value our members, sponsors, supporters and community.

We are seeking enthusiastic, netball knowledgeable individuals who would love to come and be part of our Club.

Preseason training commences Mid-January with the season starting in April and goes to the end of September for Finals.

The Senior 1 and 2 coaches would:

  • Develop in conjunction with players, team goals for the season.
  • Through practice, enhance and develop the players’ skills, fitness and mental application to the sport.
  • Through personal communication, encourage and support the players.
  • Attend any relevant Coaching course where applicable.

Freeling Netball Club: Senior One Coach – 2022 Winter Season

The Freeling Netball Club competes within the Barossa, Light & Gawler Netball Association. Each season, we endeavour to field seven senior teams and 11 junior teams in the competition. Our facilities include three outdoor courts and the newly built multi-purpose FARM Centre, which is used for training and Saturday matches. We are located an easy one hour drive from Adelaide.

The Senior 1 coach is primarily responsible for coaching the Senior 1 team. The ability to liaise and communicate with all club coaches and players is essential to facilitate coaching, player development and selection strategies at the club in accordance with FNC policy. An interest in supporting and developing the club’s junior players as they transition to senior netball is highly regarded, as is the ability to provide clear direction and re-establish a winning culture within the Freeling Netball Club. Remuneration and allowances are available to the successful applicant.

Cheerio Netball Club: Senior and Junior Coaches

The Cheerio Netball Club has a rich 92 year history and is seeking Senior and Junior Coaches for the 2021 City Night Season. 

Ideally applicants will be passionate and dedicated to the development of players across all age groups and is a club oriented person who will represent Cheerio Netball Club at its highest level.  We offer a welcoming environment for all levels of skills.

Selection criteria includes:

  • Coaching experience at club or association level
  • Exceptional organisational, leaderships and communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with the club committee and other coaches
  • Organisation and delivery of all training sessions
  • Provide encouraging and supportive team environment
  • Participation in club events
  • Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain
  • Comply with Netball SA’s Coaches Code of Behaviour
