Four-time national champions

The Netball SA 17U State Team provides a wonderful opportunity for the best of the state’s emerging talent to develop and showcase their skills on the national stage. 

Taking over the mantle of Head Coach for our 17U State Team in 2025 is Vanessa Dempsey. 

Dempsey was once the Head Coach of the Oakdale Netball Club and is the current Rising Sisters Head Coach and Yakanarna State Team Head Coach. 

After leading the 17U State Team to glory in 2024 as Assistant Coach, Dempsey will now take over the reigns as Head Coach. 

New to the Netball SA State Team Program, is Darren Saul as Assistant Coach.
