Why is NetSetGO perfect for kids?

Along with the opportunity for kids to learn the basic skills of netball – from passing, catching to goal shooting, NetSetGO promotes a healthy, active lifestyle and helps children develop important social skills, like teamwork and communication.

Suncorp NetSetGO is Netball Australia’s entry level netball program. It teaches boys and girls aged 5 to 10 the basic skills of netball, through skill-based activities, minor games, music, dance and modified matches.

How do I introduce NetSetGO to my school, club or association?

Implementing NetSetGO at your school, club or association is easy!

Netball Australia has created a comprehensive set of coaching resources, session plans and coordinator manuals ensuring that anyone, from netball coaches to teachers, can successfully roll-out the program.

In addition to the resources to run the program, you will also receive:

  • an equipment kit, featuring all the equipment needed to run the program
  • administrative support from Netball SA, including assistance for schools in finding community coaches if teachers can’t teach the program themselves

The program is easy to run and gives clubs and associations the chance to recruit new players and volunteers. It also provides training opportunities for coaches and volunteers and the opportunity to increase membership and revenue at your club or association.

Interested in running NetSetGO for the first time? Contact Netball SA’s Participation Coordinator, Beth Cobden for more information!
