The Level 2 Umpires Course provides umpires with the knowledge to improve their umpiring skills and techniques and to increase their understanding of the procedures and protocols of a higher level of umpiring.
This course is a prerequisite for obtaining a National A Badge.
Upon completion of the course, each participant will receive:
- Netball Australia Level 2 Umpires Certificate
- Netball Australia Level 2 Umpires Manual (2008)
Participants require appropriate clothing and footwear and need to bring own whistle, centre pass indicator, rulebook (revised 2012), notebook, pen, lunch and drink. Tea and coffee will be supplied.
This course consists of two components, theory and practical, and both must be completed in order to receive your Level 2 Umpires Certificate. If you commit to the theory aspect of this course it is expected you will commit to the practical component as well. All participants must have a personal fitness level that will enable them to perform their normal umpire duties and where required to umpire in a match situation.
It is your responsibility to ensure the practical component is completed within the necessary timeframe.
