Specialist School Program Purpose

The aim of the Netball SA Specialist School Program is:

  • To assist in the development of the sport and to raise the profile of netball within schools and the local community.
  • To develop netball players to the best of their ability and to educate them for a potential career in the sporting industry.
  • To provide an opportunity for school students to be developed for future talent identification in netball.
  • To provide an avenue for Netball SA to educate school participants through its school and other community programs.

Specialist Endorsed Schools must be able to demonstrate that they are able to provide a successful program that includes all aspects of a holistic approach to student development.

Henley High School


The Henley Sports Netball Academy at Henley High School has been established to assist talented student athletes to further develop their level of performance and knowledge. The program includes specialised coaches, coaching and officiating certificates, and analysis of performance.

Applications for the program are currently open and close at 8.30am Monday 25 March for students commencing Year 8 in 2020. Please refer to this website for further details.
