For the first time in 10 years, entry fees to Priceline Stadium will increase.
The new fee structure, which will be introduced from the opening round of the 2018 Adelaide Metro Netball Division (AMND) season on Saturday 14 April, will see single passes for all ticket categories increase by 50 cents.
The new pricing will come into effect for the Premier League competition when the season begins in May, and for City Night Division (CND) when the 2018/2019 season starts in October.
Netball SA CEO, Ben Scales, said for the past 10 years Netball SA hasn’t increased entry fees.
“However, due to continual increases in stadium operating costs, including utilities, insurance, wages and maintenance, we are now in a position where entry fees need to be adjusted to cover these expenses,” he said.
“Netball SA is dedicated to improving the facilities at Priceline Stadium, and providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone that uses the facility, whether that be a player, official or spectator.
“Our 26 outdoor netball courts were recently refurbished and in the coming months the Stage 1 upgrade of the stadium will begin, which will see improvements to player facilities, changerooms, entry to the stadium with turnstiles introduced, and the carpark amongst others.
“In December 2017, a new point-of-sale system was also installed to provide a more efficient service when entering the stadium and purchasing from the canteen and bar.
“I thank you for your understanding and I wish you all the best for the upcoming season.”
