Budding netballer wins Thunderbirds experience

Out of the 450 budding netballers who attended the July Adelaide Thunderbirds School Holiday Clinic, Elise Campbell was the lucky winner of two tickets to the T-Birds’ last home game of the 2018 season.

Elise, who participated in full-day clinic for 8-10-year-olds, and her mum Emma attended the game.

Emma said it was the first Thunderbirds game the duo had been to and being so close to the action was a great experience.

“The crowd and kid-friendly atmosphere was also great. It was welcoming and entertaining the whole night,” she said.

Elise, who plays for Newton Jaguars, said the school holiday clinics were a lot of fun.

“My favourite activity was throwing the bean bags up and trying to catch them, and I also learnt I can throw the ball with one hand.”

She said she hopes to attend the next clinics being held during the October school break.
