At Netball SA we aim to provide school children, no matter their cultural background or ability, a chance to play netball – the sport so many Australians love. That’s why we’re proud to offer Inclusion NetSetGO to schools. AND it’s FREE!
Inclusion NetSetGO is the perfect program to introduce Indigenous and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) school children and students with disabilities to the sport of netball.
Inclusion NetSetGO brings together children from different language groups and backgrounds by using activities with a common goal. It also promotes participation and a healthy lifestyle, and teaches teamwork.

What is Inclusion NetSetGO?
Inclusion NetSetGO is a modified version of Netball Australia’s entry level netball program, Suncorp NetSetGO.
It teaches boys and girls the basic skills of netball, through skill-based activities, minor games, music, dance and modified matches.
Inclusion NetSetGO seeks to address the barriers to participation in netball to provide opportunities for those new to the sport to participate in safe and inclusive netball environments.
Why Inclusion NetSetGO perfect for school students
Along with the opportunity for your students to learn the basic skills of netball – from passing, catching to goal shooting, Inclusion NetSetGO promotes a healthy, active lifestyle and helps children develop important social skills, like team work and communication.
The program can be adapted to suit the specific needs and abilities of diverse groups.
How you can introduce Inclusion NetSetGO at your school
Implementing NetSetGO at your school is easy, the program is flexible and it’s FREE!
Netball Australia has created a comprehensive set of coaching resources, session plans and coordinator manuals for Suncorp NetSetGO, which can be easily modified to suit the specific needs and abilities of your students. These resources ensure that anyone – your school’s teachers to parents of students – can successfully roll-out the program.
In addition to the resources to run the program, you will also receive:
- an equipment kit, featuring all the equipment needed to run the program
- administrative support from Netball SA
- each student will receive water bottle
