NetSetGO players show skills in carnivals

To showcase the skills learnt during the 2017 NetSetGO season, clubs from the Yorke Peninsula and Southern United Netball associations held netball carnivals in late August.

Yorke Peninsula Netball Association hosted a carnival in Minlaton on 20 August with 150 junior players taking to the courts.

The Southern United Netball Association held its round robin tournament at Morphett Vale on 27 August where 300 netballers from 13 clubs took part.

The carnivals were designed to be friendly and enjoyable, with Adelaide Thunderbirds player and NetSetGO Ambassador, Fiona Themann, there to meet and congratulate all the young netballers with certificates.

If you have a budding netballer who wants to be involved in NetSETGO, a program is starting shortly in Adelaide. Netball SA will host the six-week Suncorp NetSetGO program at Adelaide’s top netball facility, Priceline Stadium, from Thursday 26 October until 30 November. A 10% discount is available for October school holiday clinic participants.
